I’d like to take this moment to update you on what’s been going on in our chapter in February 2019.
February went by faster than expected. In late, January we hosted our Holiday Hamper volunteer appreciation party, to recognize the contributions our volunteers and sponsors have made to make the program a huge success. Early February, we hosted our first Make in YEG series at Sea Change Brewery featuring Andrew Ironmonger founder of Alberta Craft Beer Guide. This event features local entrepreneurs and personalities that make Edmonton a vibrant city. We also cooked and connected with families at Ronald MacDonald House (RMH), this is one of our many ways of giving back to the community, we cooking an authentic family meal to families with seriously ill or injured children. Stay tuned for April for our upcoming RMH event.
